Dave Navarro, Taylor Hawkins, and Chris Chaney have fashioned a brand new band known as NHC. (Navarro, Hawkins, Chaney — get it?) The Los Angeles rockers, in fact, have some historical past: each Navarro and Chaney are in Jane’s Habit, and Chaney and Hawkins performed collectively in Alanas Morissette’s touring band again within the day. Plus, Chaney has helped Hawkins out together with his …And The Coattail Riders group. Suffice to say these dudes know one another.

At present, NHC are releasing their first two tracks, “Feed The Merciless” and “Higher Transfer On.” The band will make their dwell debut at Eddie Vedder’s Ohana Pageant in a pair weeks. For NHC, Hawkins does lead vocals and drums, Navarro performs guitar, and Chaney is on bass.
